Biography

Andy Mortimer lives in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, overlooking Morecambe Bay. He trained as a painter and art teacher at Newcastle University and also holds a degree in Art History from the Courtauld Institute in London. He taught art in Cumbria and was involved in the arts and art education nationally and internationally for many years before retiring to concentrate on his own work in 2008.
